What People Say

Most Liked

Diners consistently rave about the fast service, making it an ideal choice for those in a hurry. The beer selection excites many patrons, with craft and popular brands lining the shelves, ensuring there's something for everyone.

The comfort food steals the show, with the barbecue bacon cheeseburger and salmon over rice frequently mentioned as must-try dishes.

Guests appreciate the friendly atmosphere, complete with nostalgic décor that sparks memories of old TV shows and the iconic road.

People enjoy dining solo as well, feeling right at home in this cozy setting.

Most Disliked

One common frustration is the reduction in menu size, with diners expressing disappointment over the large menu not being available anymore. Many miss the variety it once offered.

Service can be a bit stretched during peak times, leading some to experience longer wait times. A single server handling multiple tables can occasionally lead to delays.

While the ambience is relaxed, the restaurant's interior is seen as somewhat utilitarian, lacking the charm some diners seek.

The chicken sandwich was great. I had with the side salad. Five stars on it. Not just thrown together, but all ingredients placed symmetrically. Only one person was there to take care of all tables. He was very busy, but did a great job. On the down size, the large menu is no longer available, only the single sided one.

We stopped here for dinner and had a great time. The old route 66 is nostalgic, as I remember the old TV series. This Grill is in the Holliday Inn and is somewhat utilitarian but friendly. We had the salads, fries, and beers.

A great place if you are having a wonderful meal, wonderful service atmosphere, great place to have a meal when you're staying in the hotel highly recommended. The menus pictured here are the most current has of August 24th 2024 Saturday and if you want to trust in you can trust these two pictures front and back and the picture of the meal is the Barbecue Bacon Cheeseburger.

The restaurant was open until 9. We were grateful it was open that late because we didn't have to leave to get dinner after driving all day. The service was good, and so was the food! Prices were reasonable.

The whole staff is extremely awesome to be around. Great drink prices, food options are also great. They always have a special that doesn’t disappoint! John the bar tender is a really cool guy, easy to get along with, and is always on point with refills and customer service. Definitely will be my little spot, anytime I’m in Joplin

Great place to eat and drink. Attached to the holiday inn. Good prices, full bar with excellent service. I got the salmon with a long island ice tea. Didn't have to wait for a table and the waitress was very friendly and professional.
